Hull & Deck
Miss Ruth is a raised pilothouse motor yacht with apainted flag bluesemi-displacement hull. She has the feel of a much larger vessel with her 18'2" beam and overall length of 61'10". and is considered one of the safest yachts in any sea conditions. The teak aft deck wide walkways and bow are epoxied in place so there are no hidden screws. She has a Maxwell 2200 dual windlass system with foot pedalsrunning a Ridey 601lb plow anchor and second bow anchor a Ridey 451lb hook anchor.The windshields and sidewindows are tinted glass and laminated with a layer of 3M Hurricane shield to a total thicknessof 11mm. Access to the bow is through double doors on the Portuguese bridge there are four built in storage compartments inside the bridge. The side decks are protected by fiberglass bulwarks topped with teak cap rails which are finished with ten coats of varnish.The 1200 hundred fuel tank can be filled from either port or starboard deck fuel fills. Marlow has a unique twin prop keel bottom which places the keel lower than the props in the water which protects the props from being damaged as well as allowing the boat to track straight with little correction.The hull is molded in blue gel coat and topped with 2 coats of blue Awlgrip with a coat of clear on top to keep her shiny. It is obvious that the mold was perfect because you cannot find a ripple in her 53 feet.She will keep her form because the Vinylester resin encases two layers of Kevlar and many layers of non-woven fabrics that are vacuum bagged to the Core-Cell structural foam core. The inner laminate is all high tech non-woven fabrics. The bilges are smooth and finished like the rest of the yacht.
Bridge
The bridge is accessed byeither the cockpit ladder or pilothouse staircase. Miss Ruth has an large open bridge with a factory hardtop. The helm is a captains dream with twin Raymarine E120 series GPS/Chartplotters Raymarine winddepth and speed gauges Simrad autopilot twin Caterpillar engine monitors.Handeling isa dream with morse electronic controls assisted by a bow and stern thruster. There are two ICOMVHF radios to allow the captain to monitor and talk on two different channels. The dream continues with the comfort of dual ultra leather STIDD helm chairs allowing the captain and mate to ride in the style and comfort. Salon
Entering the salon through double doors you immediately get a warm and cozy feeling permeating from the lovely custom draperies wooden blinds teak and holy floors and inviting Burgundy ultra leather sofas and chair. There is an adjustable solid teak table with storage nestled between a sofa and arm chair to starboard. Forward in the salon is an entertainment center boasting a 42" Sony Bravia flat screen TV. There is a curio cabinet adjacent to the TV with glass doors. The lower half of the unit is three double door storage areas and three pull out drawers. Forward to port is a beautiful wet bar with a stainless steel sink U Line refrigerator with ice maker and a U Line wine chiller with glass door. Aft of the wet bar is the other Burgundy Ultra leather sofa with end table. Take note that both sofas and the chair were built with arms on each end which was an upgrade. The entire teak interior comes from a single teak log which has produced beautiful planks . The beauty and craftsmanship are unparalleled. Forward to port are three stairs leading to the pilothouse.
Pilothouse
The lower helm is a duplication of the bridge with the same compliment of electronics. Thee is a single ultra leather STIDD held chair adjacent to a beautiful Chamois ultra leather settee with adjustable solid teak table. The table slides bow to stern and port to starboard to allow for easy seating. The helm chair turns to port to add additional seating at the dinette. Above the helm area is the boats monitoring system and tank tender system. The beautifully crafted teak wheel immediately captures your attention upon entering the pilothouse. To starboard of the hem is the spiral staircase leading the three staterooms and two heads. there are wing doors on both sides of the pilothouse allowing easy access to the exterior walkways. For additional lighting and ventilation there are two hatches above the helm area.
Galley
The galley is three steps up forward of the salon in the pilothouse and a cooks delight.Granite counter tops sit atopbeautiful teak cabinetry there is a double stainless steel sink with a stainless Grohe faucet. and fresh water dispenser.Cooking is a breeze on the Dacor (4) burner glass cook top which can be used in conjunction with the Sharp Carousel convection microwave oven to complete the perfect meal. Keeping things cool is the (4) four drawer Sub Zero refrigerator freezer. There is plenty of storage in th teak cabinets hanging above the counters aft and to starboard. Access to the bridge electronics is made via a drop down hatch in the center of the galley.
VIP Stateroom
The VIP stateroom forward has a center-line queen island berth with six large drawers under the berth. All the cabinetry is satin finished teak. Each hull side is finished with overhead lockers with louvered teak doors and a cedar lined hanging locker. There is a 15" flat screen TV that is mounted in a custom teak frame. This stateroom has a telephone jack stereo volume control and berth reading lights. Two Manship screened overhead hatches provide light and fresh air.
VIP HEAD
There is a full head with separate stall shower accessible from the stateroom or the companionway to allow use as a day head or for guests in the port side stateroom. The Lexanshower door is a beautiful curved shape framed in solid teak to make the best use of the space.Both the head and the shower have exhaust fans vented outside the vessel. The sink isundermounted china bowl on a Cream Marfil granite top finished with teak fiddles.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is amidships full width making it very light and roomy with teak and holly sole throughout. Miss Ruth has an island queen berth withsix large drawers under the berth. The walls and cabinetry are all satin finished teak. There are two cedar lined hanging lockers and several lockers with shelving along the starboard side. The forward port corner ofthe stateroom has a full length beveled dressing mirror.The flat screen TV is easily viewed from the bed. There are two beautiful teak nightstand oneach side of the bed withone large dovetailed drawer mounted on ball bearing slides and storage cabinet above and below. A Cabin Danmark lamp is mounted just outside the headboard on each side to provide perfect light for reading. A beautiful curved solid teak valance over the bed has small halogen lights on a dimmer. The slots in the top of the valance diffuse the air-conditioning and send it out into the middle of the room keeping cool drafts off the bed. There are four opening port lights with screens. When you want privacy drapes can be closed to cover the port lights.The en-suite head is very spacious with vanity Cream Marfil granite counters under-mountedchina sink bowl Grohe faucet several drawers and cabinets with shelves for storage oftoiletries. A large linen closet over the head allows storage for several sets of towels and bedlinens. The shower area has a large teak-framed Lexan door and the shower sides are finished inhigh gloss gelcoat trimmed in teak. There is a nice cabinet in the shower area to store toiletries.The tank tender is next to the head allowing you to see the state of the holding tank at a glance.There is a full size stacked Whirlpool washer and dryer in the master stateroom in the forward closet.
Guest Stateroom Office
The second guest stateroom is on the port side of the vessel at the base of the stairs from the pilothouse. This stateroom provides two comfortable bunks and a cedar-lined hanging locker. A15" flat screen TV is on the aft bulkhead viewable from the berths and a radio volume control.Double doors open this area to the cabin way where you descend from the pilothouse so the yacht has a very open feel.This stateroom doubles as an office with a nice desk that is designed to securely store a laptopwith easily accessible power and phone line. There are three large drawers and a teak cabinetfor storage.

Engine Room
Miss Ruth undoubtedly has one of the cleanest engine rooms you will come across with its spotless painted bilges and teak flooring. you will notice the stellar stainless steel shining like it is brand new. The engines with only 236 hours are still a crisp white as are the low hour generators. Words alone can not describe the care and attention to detail the owner has put into the maintenance of this room.You can get to everything quickly and safely with 6'2" head room. The area is well lit with 110V and 24V lighting. There are 110V and 24V blowers to cool the space down after a run and the area is air-conditioned so maintenance can be done in comfort. Each diesel engine has dual Racor filters. The fuel system is very simple with one large tank (1200 gallons total). The engine beds are very heavy polished stainless steel and secure the engine vibration isolation mounts to the hull stringers and run all the way past the transmissions to accept the thrust load of the Aquadrive units. The dripless shaft seals have a crossover tube that supplies water from both engines so you can safely run on one engine. There are two 16 KW Northern Lights generators in sound shields.Just forward of the engines is the sea chests with removable clear cleaning cover. Each of theengines generators air-conditioning system salt water washdown and all the other componentsof the yacht that require salt water have their own shut-off valve on the sea chest. One hullopening for all sea water needs provides great safety. The Port closet contains the Inverter system .The aft doors in the Lazarette give you access to the steering gear autopilot ram and trim tab system. This area is beautifully finished in white gel-coat like all the bilges on the yacht.Most of the space is open for your use as general storage.
